Ms. Jaswant Kaur, a housewife, who used to design for her close acquaintances in her free time was persuaded to believe that she should have her own workshop. In 1990 She started her label 'Anoop', designing clothes on large scale there after she never looked back. She has made a mark in traditional Punjabi suits. Her creation is a blend of classic traditional Punjabi suits with subdued degree of sophistication to suit middle aged women.

She has an edge in designing Patiala Salwar suits. Patiala, the city of Royals, being her home town always inspired her for creativity. Her shopping trip would always end up in frustration, as it was always a task to find someone exclusive, classic with a traditional touch, just right for occasion. She would never find appropriate Salwar, the bottom of the suit, which enhances further the grace of Punjabi suits in ready to wear collection. Then she started designing and got wide spread applause for her creation.
